The company was founded in 1961 by Dr. Walter Köcher in the district of Hof in Bavaria.
At the beginning stood THE ACRYLIC BARRACK OF FRANCONIA.
Based on experience with textiles gained at the firm’s parent factory in Thuringia a new course was set. Ever since, this Selbitz-based enterprise has focused on making composite fabrics whose textile and polymeric layers are manufactured and bonded to one another according to the firm’s own manufacturing methods. Active in the fields of polymeric applications, textiles and ultrasonic bonding technology, the firm manufactures pre-products respectively semi-manufactured materials for use in medical technology, garments, personal and industrial protection, the automotive and furniture industries, as well as the sports branch.
